How Energy Transfer Works

The faster a bullet travels, the more energy it generates. Furthermore, energy developed at the muzzle must be transferred or “dumped” into the target to be effective. Bullet expansion aids energy transfer. As a result, higher velocity produces rapid expansion, which expends energy efficiently into the target. This explosive expansion creates tremendous stopping power, providing safety in real-world situations.

COR®BON Jacketed Hollow Points feature a gilding metal jacket with a soft lead core. The jacket is specially scored inside and out to ensure uniform and rapid expansion.
