Back in 1982, COR®BON’s R&D team discovered that standard JHP ammo often failed to expand after hitting clothing or other barriers. Consequently, over-penetration and underwhelming terminal effect became a serious concern. Therefore, we engineered a faster, more violent, and more reliable hollow point that expands properly—even after passing through layers of clothing.

Performance and Ballistics

The 115gr projectile exits at 1500 fps from a 4-inch barrel, delivering 575 ft-lbs of energy into the target on impact.
