Performance

With a muzzle velocity of 1325 feet per second and 585 foot-pounds of energy, this load hits hard and dumps energy immediately on impact. Additionally, the soft lead core and gilding metal jacket are precision-scored inside and out to ensure rapid, uniform expansion—typically doubling in diameter. This controlled mushrooming reduces the risk of overpenetration while maximizing internal damage. Penetration falls between 9 to 15 inches in ballistic gel, placing it in the ideal range for defensive use.
