The Urban ResponseTM is a gilding metal jacket filled with a lead core that’s shaped into a Patented “V” shape, then capped with a round polymer ball which is crimped and held in place by the copper jacket. The ball enhances the feeding in auto pistols. Then, during the bullet flight, the polymer ball disperses air around the bullet making it more aerodynamic, improving accuracy.
Upon impact, the polymer ball delays expansion, allowing it to penetrate several inches before it is pushed out of the way exposing the lead “V” shape cavity, causing the bullet to fully expand properly. An added benefit of the polymer ball is that it protects the integrity of the hollow point by not allowing clothing or other material to plug up the hollow point cavity causing it to fail to expand.

Urban Response® is crafted with the finest quality components, including match-quality Lapua brass. The bullets are designed with a thin jacket and a soft lead core, making it an extremely accurate and consistent load. With a velocity of 2900fps/Energy 1027 ft/lbs, it is compatible with all AR-15/M-4 rifles with either the 223 Rem or 5.56 NATO Chamber. This bullet does not expand in the traditional sense, but fragments to minimize over penetration in urban environments.
