Safety Slug®
The Glaser Safety Slug® was designed in 1974 in response to the possibility of having to use a handgun on an airplane by the Sky Marshals . The concerns at that time were over penetration on soft tissue and ricochets on hard surfaces and possible excess penetration. In 2002, we purchased the company, because we knew that Safety Slug would be a perfect compliment to the Cor®Bon family of products and a great home defense round. With a bit of engineering enhancement, today, Glaser® offers this excellent performing self-defense round for civilian use. It’s the perfect round for apartment complexes, and close quarter security areas such as; courthouses, hospitals, or amusement parks.

Pow’rball®
The patented Pow’RBall® design enhances feeding in those finicky pistols, but it also delays the expansion of the projectile when it hits soft tissue, making it a more controlled expansion bullet. This controlled expansion gives you deeper penetration, better weight retention and more consistent expansion in soft tissue. The lighter weight projectile also reduces recoil and allows faster follow up shots. JHP
Jacketed Hollow Point
Back in 1982, our testing showed that most Jacked Hollow Point (JHP™) ammunition would plug up with clothing and fail to expand in soft tissue. The typical JHP™ was passing through like hardball ammo causing little damage. For this reason, the original Cor®Bon JHP was designed with higher velocity than our competitors. Independent studies have shown that the rapid energy transfer from the bullets violent and immediate expansion in ballistic gelatin has given our JHP a one-shot stopping power percentage of over 90%! The rapid expansion reduces projectile over penetration. Our JHP™ typically achieves 8”-15” of penetration.
